Today, a New Member Coffee Event was held at The Madison Club with 40 Rotarians, including 28 new members, in attendance. This was an opportunity for newer members to enjoy fellowship with one another and meet some of our longer tenured Rotarians.
While introducing themselves, each was asked to share his/her favorite Rotary moments. The event also had three presenters:
- Virginia Bartelt encouraged New Members to attend the October 27 Membership Event at the Chazen Museum of Art. Visit the museum website to learn more about the spectacular expansion.
- Tim Stadelman, Chairperson of the Community Projects Committee, spoke about the opportunities for hands-on service.
- Dave Ewanowski, past president, talked about the club’s leadership and mission statement and encouraged new members to get involved in one or more of the club’s 40 committees and 25 fellowship groups.
Our thanks to Jason Beren of the Member Development Committee for organizing this event for new members.
